By nature dreams are not practical. Practical has to do with what is; dreams have to do with what could be, but isn’t yet. Bridging these two worlds, the actual and the desirable, is the practical dreamer’s challenge.

Do you ever wish you could set an example with your
   life?
New Yorker Stuart Wilde sold his comic book collection
  and started cross-country with the intention of finding a
  way he could set an example with his life for how we can live in 
   harmony with the  environment
. He now runs Llama Nature
  Adventure Tours in Taos, New Mexico.

               Update: Wilde recently bought 12 ½ acres where his llamas can roam when they’re not off

Have you ever thought about taking your life on the road? Megan Edwards and Mark Sedenquist hit the road six years in a custom, seven-ton, four-wheel drive high-tech mobile home/office. Do you need to get away from the rat race?  Mary Ann Halpin & partner Joe Croyle moved their stress-filled photography business home and now split their time between an urban home office studio and a restful mountain retreat.

Mary Ann has created The Children of Pine Mountain 
                 photo exhibit and recently began offering mountain retreat

Is here an inner call you’re wishing you could follow? Gene & Toni Bua had it all with staring roles on a popular daytime television series when Toni when for some reason she didn’t understand Toni felt compelled to move to Los Angeles. They gave up everything to follow that call which led to their opening the Gene Bua Acting for Life Organization and Theatre where they teach and write, direct and produce musicals like their nationally acclaimed production of the award-winning Pepper Street.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do? Linda & Ed Miller each had a dream. Ed wanted to escape the crime-ridden world where he worked as a construction manager. Linda wanted to open her own day spa ever since she took her first job in working in one as massage therapist. Fate brought them together in following their dream.

     Update: Linda and Ed recently expanded on their dreams beyond
    even their own wildest imagination.  They opened their a Bed &
    Breakfast Inn, Miller’s Pine Mountain Retreat. Read more about their  they-said-it-couldn’t -be-done story.
